[이호열 박사의 연예뉴스 '영어로 따라잡기']이동건 "내 안에 한류스타 있다"

배우 이동건이 7일 진주성 특설무대에서 진행된 '2007 코리아 드라마페스티벌'(사진)을 통해 6000여명의 아시아 팬들을 불러모으며 '아시아의 연인'이라는 행사 제목에 걸맞는 위세를 자랑했다.

최근들어 부쩍 한류관련 행사에 적극적으로 참여하고 있는 이동건은 이날 관객들이 일제히 풍선을 날리는 축하를 받으며 무대에 등장해 유력 한류스타의 명단을 차지하고 있음을 알렸다.

이동건은 드라마 '파리의 연인'의 명대사인 '이 안에 너 있다'라는 대사를 6000여 관객들을 향해 날리는가 하면 연인 한지혜와 공연한 드라마 '낭랑 18세'를 가장 기억에 남는 드라마로 꼽으며 '임자있는 몸'이라는 사실도 주저없이 자랑했다. 9일 막을 내린 '2007 코리아 드라마페스티벌'에서 이동건은 '한류스타와의 만남'이라는 이벤트에 초청을 받아 진주를 찾았으며, 자신을 보기 위해 비행기를 타고 찾아온 무수한 팬들의 열의에 다시 한번 감동했다.

At '2007 Korea Drama Festival' that took place on a special stage, Lee Dong Gun proved his popularity just like the name of the event 'Asia's lover' alludes, by assembling approximately 6000 Asian fans. Lee Dong Gun had been recently taking parts in events related to the Korean wave, and on this day of the event, the audiences all greeted him by throwing balloons in the air. Such atmosphere was a proof that he was one of the main characters that caused the Korean wave.

While saying a famous line 'You are here in my mind' from the drama 'Lovers in Paris' in front of the 6000 audiences, he confessed that he thought 'Sweet 18' was the most memorable drama for him, since it was done with his real lover Han Ji Hae, and did not hesitate to reveal that he had a lover. In this '2007 Korea Drama Festival' that ended on the 9th, Lee Dong Gun was invited to an event called 'Meeting with Korean Stars' and had an invaluable experience with the fans. He thanked once more for the numerous fans that flew to Korea to see him.
